The Last Land War: Land seizures during the War of Independence and the Civil War

While the War of Independence raged in certain areas of the country just over a century ago (mainly Munster and Dublin) in some parts (including Meath) there were bad actors looking after their own interests. They were seizing land and defying both Dáil Éireann and the Crown Forces to do anything about it. To coincide with the publication of his new book Land Is All That Matters (Head of Zeus/Bloomsbury), Myles Dungan (The History Show, RTÉ Radio 1) will recall this murky chapter of the early 1920s.
