Kells Literary and Cultural Festival Company Limited, a Company Limited by Guarantee, trading as Hinterland Festival of Literature & Arts was established in 2013. The Constitution records our objectives as being:
- To work in partnership with the people of Kells by generating and nurturing the community spirit with a view to promoting their economic, social and cultural welfare.
- To promote, maintain and advance tourism activities in Kells, Co. Meath by offering tourist information on Kells heritage, attractions, events and festivals.
- To help maintain the people of Kells, Co. Meath and surrounding areas to become actively involved in their community to assist in the development of the main objective.
The Company Directors are: Dr. Myles Dungan, Geraldine Gaughran, Fintan Hogan, Jess Olohan, Bill Sweeney.
