Following on from his successful, sold-out concert in Kells last summer, Matthew Gilsenan from The Celtic Tenors brings a performance of his new solo show to his hometown. The event will take place in the leafy surrounds of the Headfort Garden (weather permitting).
Matthew, a true lyric tenor, is at home with Puccini or Verdi, but you can expect a bit of grand opera, along with Dylan and Cohen, folk songs, and even a bit of country. Matthew’s belief is that a good song is a good song, no matter what its origins. The evening will have special local appeal on this occasion as The Inspire Choral Group will join Matthew as guests on stage.
