Des Lee

Few ‘Troubles’ atrocities made as much impact as the senseless murder of three members of the Miami showband, one of the few southern groups that continued to play in the North in the 1970s. Their reward was to be attacked by a loyalist paramilitary gang in July 1975. Three members of the band were killed, Des Lee and Stephen Travers survived. Des will be in conversation with his biographer Ken Murray.
