There is no greater success story in Irish fiction than the national treasure who is Marian Keyes. Her novels have sold in their millions in more than thirty languages. She has written, with verve, humour, poignancy and tenderness on topics as diverse as alcoholism, depression, addiction, domestic violence, divorce, drug abuse and debilitating illness, all without managing to be downbeat in her writing.
