Map your house, map your garden, map your route to school. Add your favourite landmark. How about the pets that live in the neighbourhood? Kids will discover what fascinates them about a place; is it a memory, or maybe an experience? By creating a map of their surroundings, kids identify the essence of what is meaningful to a place for them and also learn how to visualise their world creatively. Kids will learn how to draw a simple compass rose to add to their maps.
