It was one of the defining moments of 1969, an unforgettable juxtaposition of some of the musical greats of the 1960s. Tom will look back half a century to the great Woodstock rock festival on Max Yasgur’s 600-acre dairy farm in upstate New York (‘three days of peace and music’) which starred, among others, Jimi Hendrix, The Band, The Who, Grateful Dead, Janis Joplin, Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young, Joe Cocker and Joan Baez.
