As a committee, we’re delighted to have reached the milestone of delivering 10 years of successful festivals in Kells, and we look forward to the coming decade.
Without the backing of our Friends, Patrons and Benefactors, it would not have been possible to stage Hinterland.
This support enables us to realise our Vision for the festival: that Hinterland will be a festival that brings the people of Kells together with the finest writers in the world to inspire a marketplace of ideas and imagination, to build community involvement and well-being, and to shape a new and confident identity for Kells as the international centre of creativity, and allows us continue with our Mission: to produce a programme of events of international quality, that will support and develop local artists, develop the town through a creative use of space and programming, and support the local economy by encouraging local spending and attracting international visitors.
