American novelist and historian Tim O’Grady first became fascinated with Ireland when he collaborated on the multimedia project Curious Journey; An Oral History of Ireland’s Unfinished Revolution. Monaghan, his latest novel is based on the extraordinary story of Frank ‘Lucas’ Quigley a legendary republican activist and artist from West Belfast. Tim is also the author of the photographic novel I Could Read the Sky, made into a film in 1999. He will be in conversation with Rus Bradburd.
