John Banville

Long known and celebrated as a writer of literary fiction (Booker Prize winner in 2005) John Banville branched out into detective fiction the following year, under the pseudonym Benjamin Black. Since then he has published fourteen crime novels either as Benjamin Black or under his own name. His latest crime novel The Drowning (2024) is the tenth in the Quirke series. He will be in conversation with Myles Dungan.
