Collusion: How Russia Helped Donald Trump Become President

Venue: Church of Ireland – Merriebelle Farm Stage
Luke Harding became the Guardian Moscow correspondent in 2007. When attempting to return from the UK to his bureau in Moscow in 2011, he was refused re-entry to Russia and was deported. He is author of The Snowden Files and A Very Expensive Poison: The Assassination of Alexander Litvinenko and Putin’s War With the West. In Collusion: Secret Meetings, Dirty Money and How Russia Helped Donald Trump Win – which spent a number of weeks as New York Times No.1 bestseller – Harding lays out the story behind the Christopher Steele dossier, which entered the twilight region of the public domain shortly after the 2016 election of Donald Trump to the White House. He lays bare the Trump/Russia story and exposes some of the dubious characters with whom the President seems to surround himself. According to Nation magazine, “Harding…presents a powerful case for Russian interference” (no matter what Robert Mueller says!). He will be in conversation with Myles Dungan.
