Mollie is the heroine of Anna Carey’s novels The Making of Mollie and Mollie on the March. Anna will talk about why she wanted to write about Irish teenage suffragettes, what real-life stories inspired her, the influence of small noisy dogs on her work and much more! Anna Carey is an author and journalist from Dublin whose first book The Real Rebecca won the Senior Children’s Book of the Year prize at the 2011 Irish Book Awards. The Making of Mollie was shortlisted for the same prize in 2016.
